Within this exercise I’ll go over briefly the introductory course with using photoshop and my thought process in sketching out a poster.
Beginning with the sketch you’ll find below its merely a crude idea of how I want to stylize my posters. Since its about beer obviously you need images of the product in the forefront so I’d always include these bottle shapes to represent the drinks with accompanying background sketches of nature. With the centerpiece being the title logo/slogan being large and visible either in the center or corner of the sketch.
Then I simply took my first two favorite concepts and tried to perfect them in photoshop as shown below.
